Install as an app (PWA)

Sunrise is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your desktop or mobile device for quick access.

Desktop (Chrome, Edge, Safari)

1. Go to app.getsunrise.today
2. Look for the install icon in the address bar, or use the browser menu
3. Click Install or Add to Dock

Sunrise opens in its own window, like a native app.

Mobile (iOS Safari)

1. Open app.getsunrise.today in Safari
2. Tap the Share button
3. Tap Add to Home Screen
4. Confirm the name and tap Add

Mobile (Android Chrome)

1. Open app.getsunrise.today
2. Tap the menu (three dots)
3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen

Offline behavior

The installed app caches the UI shell for faster loading. Task data requires an internet connection — Sunrise is designed for online use with Google sync.

Themes

Sunrise supports light, dark, and system themes. Change your preference in account settings.
