Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sunrise web application at app.getsunrise.today and related services ("Service") operated by Sunrise ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sunrise. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have authority to bind your organization if you are using Sunrise on behalf of a company.
Account and access
You sign in to Sunrise using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your Sunrise account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malicious code or content that harms other users
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our permission
- Use automated means to access the Service in ways that burden our systems
Your content
You retain ownership of the tasks, projects, and other content you create in Sunrise. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you and your workspace members.
Google services
Sunrise integrates with Google Tasks and Google Calendar. Your use of those integrations is also subject to Google's terms and policies. We are not responsible for changes Google makes to its APIs or services.
Beta service
Sunrise is currently offered as a beta service. The Service may change, have bugs, or be interrupted. Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice. We do not guarantee uptime or availability during beta.
Pricing
Sunrise is currently free during public beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future. We will provide advance notice before charging for any plan that affects your account.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNRISE AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sunrise from claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post the current Terms on this page.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
