Answers to common questions about Sunrise and Google Workspace integration.
How do I sign in?
Sunrise uses Google sign-in only. Go to app.getsunrise.today and click Sign in or Continue with Google. There is no separate username or password.
Do I need a Google Workspace account?
No. Personal Gmail accounts work. If you sign in with a Google Workspace email, Sunrise automatically provisions an organization workspace for your domain.
What Google data does Sunrise access?
Sunrise requests access to your Google profile (name, email), Google Tasks (to sync your Sunrise list), and Google Calendar (to show events on planning views). We only use this data to provide the service.
How does Google Tasks sync work?
Sunrise creates and maintains a list called "Sunrise" in Google Tasks. Changes in Sunrise sync to Google Tasks and vice versa. See our docs for details.
Can I install Sunrise on my phone or desktop?
Yes. Sunrise is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Use your browser's Install app or Add to Home Screen option on app.getsunrise.today.
Is Sunrise free?
Yes, during public beta. Team and Workspace paid plans are coming soon. We will announce pricing before charging anyone.
How do I invite teammates?
From the app, send an invite link to teammates. They sign in with Google to join your workspace.
